The first step in self-managing chronic illness is collecting accurate data about your symptoms and behaviors over time.
For people with chronic illness this can be a challenge. Many suffer from brain fog that makes it difficult to remember exactly how they felt or what they did when questioned by their doctor or caregiver.
With the Chronic Illness Assistant mobile app you will be reminded at regular intervals to do quick and easy check-ins that will record how you were feeling or what you were doing at that moment.
Every so often the Chronic Illness Assistant mobile app will prompt you to rate the severity of your most problematic symptoms. You control which symptoms you are asked about and how often. Also, you can easily record instances of secondary symptoms only when they occur.
Feeling exhausted at a check-in.
Sudden bout of severe back pain.
The mobile app also has the ability to track sleep, food, medication, activities, and vitals. You can track vitals manually or through the use of wearable sensors. (See our list of currently supported sensors)

Track your vitals.
You can track as little or as much as you want, allowing you to start out slowly and begin using additional features as you feel you can handle it.
